What's the difference between deodorant and anti-perspirant?Updated 12 days ago
Antiperspirants are products specifically formulated to reduce perspiration (sweat), whereas deodorants prevent you from smelling.
Typically, all antiperspirants are deodorants (they reduce sweating and deodorize), but not all deodorants are antiperspirants. This distinction is made by one ingredient: if it contains aluminum, the product is considered an antiperspirant. The aluminum used in antiperspirant blocks your pores to reduce sweating.
